Through DEN, he got an interview for a position at a supermarket restocking the shelves. Nightfill I think they call it. It was the first interview he has ever had. He was so nervous, he had decided he wasn’t going. It took a lot of timely coaxing to get him there, but afterward he said it was easy. Thought he had the job in the bag. Time passed and he never heard back from them.

At his next DEN appointment they told him he didn’t get the job, he had interviewed poorly. The report came from a man, he was interviewed by a woman. He sunk down again, his outlook on life isn’t the best at the best of times. Next thing I know, they are sending him out filling in applications for full time labouring positions. What on earth are these people thinking. He tires easily and can’t work in the heat. On his initial visit with this organization the interview took two hours, everything was gone through and many things crossed off the list due to what he would be able to do. Frustrating for me, no wonder my son gives up so easily. I was invited to meet with them and we worked out a strategy, well I thought we did. They had to go back and read his file, then proceed to work on maybe getting him a trial at something. I left thinking we were on track.  I am looking forward to good things here.
