My son turned 18 today, and even though I treat each day as it comes, so I don’t get any surprises and I can survive each day, this is a real milestone.  Both my boys are now adults.

No party, but we went out to dinner as a family.  That in itself is a rare occurrence.  Mum, Dad and the boys.  I probably won’t see him for a few days now as he will be off doing all those things he couldn’t do before, clubs and the alchol thing that they all do.  Dancing and playing cards.  Not saying he probably hasn’t done it all before, but now he dosen’t have to look over his shoulder.

Mind you they thought he may have had his surgery on his hernia by now.  But they are sending through a letter to explain a few things about him to them.  Let’s see what happens.  Sort of a cloud hanging waiting.
